ABN is a membership-based organization that empowers nonprofits in 25 East Tennessee counties to make a greater impact in our community. ETKF has been members of the ABN for three years now, utilizing a large variety of trainings and conferences with top consultants and leaders in the nonprofit sector.
ETKF is an active participant on Guidestar with a full and detailed public profile, demonstrating our commitment to transparency. On the Guidestar ETKF profile page, you can find and view public information provided to the IRS regarding ETKF’s Programs, Financials and Operations. Financials include 990’s from our most recent fiscal year. Additional 990’s are added as each fiscal year concludes.
Volunteer East TN is a regional organization which inspires service through mobilizing volunteers with equipping nonprofits with these volunteers. ETKF is a member of VET, and therefore have access to posting all of our volunteer needs for over 22,000 East Tennesseans to view. This has been a great resource for ETKF, especially as we need event-specific volunteers for our largest event, Knox Shamrock Fest™.
ETVMA is a professional association of nonprofit volunteer managers (or those performing this role) which meets monthly to share best practices and resources, tips, advice, and encourage development of volunteer programs and their staff. ETKF has learned a lot about developing its volunteer program through ETVMA.
ETKF is a community partner with 10 United Way agencies out of the 16 which we serve. The United Way is a major source of funding for ETKF, specifically its Dianne Hagey Dialysis Transportation Program which distributes up to $65.00 to 200+ dialysis patients every single month. That adds up to quite a bit of funding! We are very thankful to have the resources and financial support from the United Way. We are proud partners of the United Way of: Anderson, Blount, Cumberland Trails (Campbell Co, TN), Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson, Greater Knoxville (Knox), Loudon, Roane & Union Counties.
