East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ Board of Directors

Michael J. Saporito, III

ETKF President
Managing Partner, Southern Holiday Retreats

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because my family has been affected by kidney disease and the stresses of weekly dialysis. My grandfather was fortunate enough to have family that could transport him but many people across eastern TN do not have the same luxuries and I enjoy being able to help with that issue.

Dickie (Edith) Kaserman

ETKF Secretary

Married to Fred Kaserman for over 50 years
Mother of three grown children
Grandmother to two granddaughters
Member of First Baptist Church, Knoxville
Member of Akima Service Club since 1989

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because I believe in the foundation’s mission to assist kidney patients in the East Tennessee area. Because of this assistance, patients are able to get the help they need for a better life. Also we work at educating the community about kidney disease.

Wes Carruthers

ETKF Treasurer
President, KenJo Markets

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because of their commitment to serving patients in the local community and making a meaningful, impactful difference in their lives. ETKF continues to grow and increase the number of East Tennesseans served each year; their focus is on individuals in our community which is very important to me and my family.

Amy Pangelinan

United Community Bank

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because my family is affected by kidney disease.

Dan McKee, ETKF Board Member

Dan McKee

President, Keyrenter Knoxville Property Management

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because of the impact being made in our local community.  Being type 1 diabetic for most of my life, I’ve seen the damage that can be done (including kidney failure) when people don’t take care of themselves.  It’s an honor to be able to help others get the care they deserve.

John Lowe

Downey Oil Company

Having been diagnosed with Kidney disease, going on dialysis , and receiving a kidney from a living donor, I have seen firsthand the financial, medical, and mental impact this disease has on the people who have it. I have witnessed people in clinics, hospitals, and Doctor’s offices that did not have the same type of support that I did from family and friends. I wanted to get involved with ETKF to be able to get these people the help they needed and bring awareness to this terrible disease.

Rob Suggs

Rob Suggs

President, Robert Suggs & Associates, Inc

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ to honor my grandmother and father, both of whom were affected by kidney disease. The ETKF, through its outreach and programming, supports the families and makes a difference in the lives of those suffering from kidney disease.

Michael G. Ramey

Managing Principal of Strategic & Transaction Solutions | PYA, P.C.

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ to improve the health of the communities served by ETKF and make an impact in patients’ ability to improve their quality of life.

Kevin Burris

ETKF Immediate Past Chair
Premier Surgical Associates

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because we, at Premier Surgical Associates, serve these patients daily in our practice, see them frequently and come to personally understand the medical and nonmedical needs of each one. CKD places demands on patients and families that go well beyond simple visits to see their physician. The East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ is the only organization in our area that supports these families and their needs for transportation and transplantation preparation working to help them maintain their health and live as “normal” a life as is possible for someone with CKD.

Steven Cakmes, DDS

General Dentist
Cakmes Dental Studio

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because I am dedicated to helping improve the lives of individuals in my community that suffer from kidney disease. The ETKF serves many East Tennesseans each year with resources such as dental assistance, transportation expenses, outreach and nutritional programs.

Brent E. Hannah, MBA, RRT

Director
Pulmonary, Non-Invasive Vascular, and Transplant Services
University of Tennessee Medical Center

Bo Johnson

Senior Program Manager, Limbach Company

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because my eyes were opened to the challenges many of those living with kidney disease face, and ETKF provides much needed assistance to make it possible for more and more patients to overcome those challenges.

Ronald N Sherrill, DPh, MPH

Regional Business Development Manager
Paragon Health Care

I serve and support the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, Inc.™ because the foundation strives to provide much needed services & to give back to patients in our community whom are affected by Kidney disease, effectively, compassionately and efficiently.
