At the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation, our fundraising events are more than just fun — they’re vital to our mission. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping patients across East Tennessee who are battling kidney disease. These events bring our community together, increase awareness, and fund essential services like transportation to dialysis, nutritional support, dental health assistance, and education. Here’s a look at some of our most impactful and exciting annual events: 
RUN FOR A CAUSE

Lucky Kidney Run

Join us this March as we come together as a community to celebrate National Kidney Disease Month with our Lucky Kidney Run! Runners can choose to participate in a 6K run or 1 mile walk depending on their preferences (timed and non-timed options available. Awards will be given to the top finshers, top fundraising teams, and largest teams.

East Tennessee Kidney Foundation (ETKF) is bringing you a one of a kind race and festival to the downtown scene in Knoxville! This race will start and end in the heart of downtown Knoxville from the Worlds Fair Park where runners can hop right into the Knoxville Shamrock Festival after finishing their run/ walk. You wont want to miss this spring morning downtown with all the festivities of St. Patricks day! The Knox Shamrock Fest begins at 10am, so be sure to bring friends and family to run or walk, then PARTY WITH ALL THINGS GREEN AND IRISH!

RACE COURSE UPDATE –> Due to peaking construction projects in South Knoxville the course has been relocated to Worlds Fair Park.

Thats right, this race kicks off from Worlds Fair Park! The course will be an out and back along 2nd Creek Greenway, feature the Neyland Drive greenway before spinning around to repeat it all back again into the Worlds Fair Park Lawn where the festivities will await your finish!

Get your team together today and join us for an afternoon raising awareness about this “silent” disease and what YOU can do to prevent it.

Held at Top Golf Knoxville, this event offers a high-energy atmosphere perfect for team-building, networking, or simply enjoying a great day out — with 100% of proceeds staying right here in East Tennessee. Whether you’re swinging for a cause or sponsoring a bay, every registration supports direct services that make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
