ABN membership provides ETKF with ABN exclusive trainings, professional guidance and resources to work towards nationally recognized nonprofit Standards for Excellence®, as defined by the The Standards for Excellence®: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector. This codebook “identifies six major areas of nonprofit governance and management which contain 27 different topic areas. Each topic area includes specific benchmarks and measures that provide a structured approach to building capacity, accountability, and sustainability in your organization.”

IRS Exempt Organizations (EO) Select Check

The Internal Revenue Service’s Exempt Organizations Select Check, or IRS EO Select Check, tool allows users to search online for exempt organizations, select and view EO’s information about federal tax status, filings and deductibility of contributions. The IRS EO Select Check makes it easy to search for organizations that are eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions (IRS Publication 78 data). ETKF is listed as a tax-exempt organization that is eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions of up to 50% of an individual’s adjusted gross income, when itemizing deductions computed without regard to net operating loss carrybacks. ETKF is a silver-level participant on Guidestar, demonstrating our commitment to transparency. Financials include 990’s from fiscal years ending 2014, 2015 and 2016 (fiscal year July 1 – June 30).
